After working for 11 years in Software Development, I was inspired in 2005 to start my own web design business - Stefanie Kyle Web Design. Since then, I have loved the balance of creative and technical challenges that face me as I design and develop websites. Every website I launch gives someone out there a presence on the web, something I feel every business and organization should have.
I have worked closely with many of the local small business owners in the time since I established Stefanie Kyle Web Design. Because of that and the fact that I, myself, am a small business owner, I realized that there is a great need in this area for a computer learning center: a place to learn in a comfortable, yet efficient manner. I understand being too busy to spend days or weeks learning a computer program. And as a busy mom, I understand how ridiculous it might be to spend days or weeks learning how to put together a photobook or photo slideshow.
The next challenge was finding just the right place for my learning center. It took about a year before I found it. Or I guess you could say IT found ME. I was offered space in the Surface Artist Cooperative, an artist co-op started by Heidi Lewis of Heidi Lynne Photography. This amazing space was just what I was looking for.
And so, from all of this, Stefanie Kyle Design & Knowledge was born. |
